DeFi aggregator attacked by five hackers on launch day

The DeFi Young Decentralized Finance (DeFi) Protocol ForceDAO got off to a difficult start. Several attacks by hackers occurred just a few hours after it was launched.

The Ethereum-based earnings aggregator had just started its Airdrop campaign on April 3rd when four malicious “Black Hat” hackers managed to get a total of 183 Ether (ETH) valued at approximately $ 367,000 USD. A friendly white hat hacker assisted the team by alerting them to prevent further casualties.
