WASHINGTON (Reuters) – US President Donald Trump ordered the release of a folder containing documents related to the FBI's investigation into Russia, which led to a lengthy investigation into his 2016 presidential campaign, a few hours before leaving office.

Trump, who has long wanted to prove that Democrats wanted to probe him out, said in a memorandum that some changes were made to the documents to allow their disclosure.
