Pret a Manger suggests espresso subscription prospects a charge of £ 20 though they cancel through the free trial
What do Pret customers say?
One MoneySaver, Emma, emailed us: "I signed up for the Pret A Manger subscription service for a month with the free trial. I found I hadn't used it enough and canceled the subscription three days before renewal I also received an email confirmation. On the renewal date, Pret still withdrew a £ 20 fee. "
Emma said she contacted Pret to complain.
Meanwhile, someone else tweeted: "@Pret Hey, I canceled my subscription (issued code) on October 11th and I just received an email confirming the payment was debited from my account. Can you cancel again and give me a refund? " Please thank."
And another unhappy customer added: @Pret I canceled my subscription only to be charged and sent an email five days later signing up again. What's happening?"
A third wrote: @Pret, me and my husband both signed up for the Pret Barista subscription and we both canceled immediately. Now we are both billed for the extension. I thought I might have made a mistake, but for it to happen to both of us we are a shame! "
