Investing.com – Raytheon Technologies (NYSE 🙂 reported Tuesday the fourth quarter that analysts' forecasts and sales exceeded expectations.

Raytheon (NYSE 🙂 Technologies announced earnings per share of $ 0.74 on sales of $ 16.58 billion. Analysts polled by Investing.com expected earnings per share of $ 0.6925 on sales of $ 16.24 billion.

Raytheon Technologies shares are down 7% year-to-date, still 33.52% from their 52-week high of $ 99.70 on February 11, 2020. They outperform the S&P 500, which was up year-to-date 2.64% has risen, below average year.

The Raytheon Technologies report follows a jump in earnings for ASML ADR on Jan. 20, which reported earnings per share of $ 3.91 on revenue of $ 5.15 billion, compared with forecast earnings per share of $ 2.97 on sales of $ 4.49 billion.

General Electric on Tuesday fell short of expectations with earnings per share of $ 0.08 on revenue of $ 21.93 billion in the fourth quarter, compared to a forecast for earnings per share of $ 0.0887 on revenue of $ 21.76 billion.
